Aerial Acoustics Model LR3
The Aerial Model LR3 is a high-performance shielded 3-way loudspeaker for use in the finest stereo and multi-channel systems. It provides a natural presentation with wide bandwidth (-3 dB at 50Hz) and high dynamic capabilities. Its 24" height is designed for vertical use on shelves, stands, or built into walls. Two rotary switches compensate for these 3 environments and allow system matching, providing an unusually high degree of placement flexibility and in-room response accuracy.
The Model LR3 continues the design philosophy of other Aerial products. Its rigid cabinet utilizes 1" thick walls throughout and interlocked bracing for low coloration. Networks are on two separate glass fiber circuit boards using the highest quality components. All drivers are custom designed with large shielded magnets and cast frames to optimize system performance.
The 3-way LR3 design provides flat frequency response, smooth power response, low distortion, and high power handling. The dual woofers increase air moving capacity, improve bass control, and increase power handling. Bass is clean and tight. Midrange performance is smooth, natural and free of coloration.
Treble is delicate, open, and detailed without hardness. Transient accuracy and coherence are exemplary. When positioned away from walls, the LR3 is capable of impressive imaging.
In addition to textured black, the LR3 is available in mirror-imaged pair-matched veneers. Finish quality is exceptional. The optional floor stand is recommended for best performance and imaging.
